Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany preferred to share his quality performance on Wednesday night with the rest of his teammates.
The Belgian was back to his best in the 3-1 Champions League Round of 16 first leg win over Dynamo Kiev and was commended for the leadership he showed throughout the contest in Ukraine.
However, the 29-year-old felt his job was made so much easier by the fact everybody in the City line-up produced such a top-notch showing on the night.
After placing one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals, City will now focus on Sunday night's Capital One Cup final against Liverpool as well as getting their Premier League tilt back on track.
"It's always easy to be a leader on the pitch when everybody does their job as they did in this match – every game is a priority from now to the end of the season and we want to do as well as we can in this competition and try and win the Capital One Cup and the Premier League as well," said Kompany.
