Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini refuses to give up on landing AS Roma star Daniele de Rossi.
The Daily Star Sunday says Mancini, who has had his share of rows with Mario Balotelli, is ready to make another move for Roma star De Rossi, after his fall-out with coach Zdenek Zeman.
And the Italian, 29, who was once described as "untransferable" by his current club, now looks like packing his bags - with City confident they can do a deal in January for £25million.
De Rossi signed a new five-year contract extension last February to become the highest-paid Italian footballer on £9m a year.
But that pay packet would not be a problem for City, who earmarked De Rossi in the summer as the midfield enforcer they sorely needed.
