Man City boss Guardiola: We're not competing for Griezmann

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola expects Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann to move to Barcelona.

Guardiola alo insists City cannot afford Griezmann and that the French international will not be coming to the Etihad.

He said: "Don't worry guys, we are not going to buy Griezmann.

"We cannot afford it. The people at Barcelona don't need to worry. We are not interested."

He also addressed claims his players insulted Liverpool in their sing along on the way back from Brighton.

Guardiola said: "It was not what people say.

"If you could imagine what this tragedy is about and all the Liverpool people.

"We were happy for ourselves - not because of the others, but if someone was offended I'm sorry - I apologise."
