Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has rejected criticism of Erling Haaland.
Despite his record goalscoring, Haaland has been questioned in big games and also the need for City to change their style of play to accommodate him.
But Guardiola says: "Erling has been impressive all season, I don't need numbers to measure him.
"We need to involve him more but it's not up to him, he moves well. He didn't touch many balls in the last game but not with Nottingham. It's not fair to take a single match and make up a theory.
"That of the striker is the most difficult position in the world, he always has two players focused only on him. And then we're fine with it even if he's frustrated, I am, you are... In life it is sometimes, isn't it? Happiness is overrated!"
