Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he doesn't expect to buy in January.

Guardiola discussed the winter market when considering their Champions League draw with RB Leipzig.

He said, "We have a shared experience from last season. We will see what happens in February, how we arrive, how they arrive. But I have a huge respect for what they have done in German football and Europe.

"It's a young team with a clear philosophy on the way they want to play.

"It's the Champions League last-16 - all the teams are strong in these stages. It is just after the World Cup and how we feel in that moment. In February, many things can happen."
