Man City boss Guardiola: Honour to play Champions League in Portugal

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has welcomed the new Champions League format.

The final eight will be played in Lisbon.

Guardiola said, "The only certainty we have is that we won the first leg.

"And we have the return against the strongest team in Europe. In this competition Real Madrid is the premier team. Anything can happen, clearly and there is still a lot of time. Just in case we manage to play well and qualify for the quarterfinals it would be an honour to go to the country of Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva.

"Before this, however, we must prepare well and improve. First of all, by trying to qualify."
