Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola can understand Kevin de Bruyne being spiky.
De Bruyne was unhappy being substituted during their Champions League win against Bayern Munich this week.
Guardiola said: "I fully understand his frustrations. Kevin wants to be on the field to help the team.
"Just look at the past seven years. It is impossible to imagine that they would have progressed like this without Kevin De Bruyne.
"If there is something to talk about, we will. I haven't seen him in recent days.
"These are things that happen all the time in the world of football and in all teams."
