Crystal Palace boss Glasner happy in London: But cricket...?

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner says he's happy in London.

Glasner was speaking ahead of tonight's clash with Manchester United.

He said, “I enjoy London. Again, I have to repeat the same: I enjoy really everything, but not the traffic!

“But this is a great city and also what I enjoy is you can walk anonymously. I enjoy it because it's different, especially Frankfurt, a smaller city. Everywhere you have selfies, selfies, selfies.

“Of course, it's nice, but sometimes you want to have maybe 10 minutes where you don't shoot the selfies, and this you can have in London because it's such a big city, a metropolitan city and a lot of possibilities.

“Most of the time I spend here [at the training ground]. But if there is time in the evening, maybe having a good dinner. My family was here last time and we had a good dinner. It was the first time my wife and all the three children were here together.

“So then we had a good dinner, two hours time for us. You can find good restaurants here in London.

“We spoke about cricket. Maybe it's the only sport I don't understand the rules. Cricket didn't find a way over the Atlantic. I don't know why. I never watched a cricket game. But I know it's very famous here, very popular here.

“If you don't understand the rules, it's terrible. Some games last for four or five days with training, so it's not my favourite sport, but maybe [one day]!"
