Manchester City forward Erling Haaland could be available for his side's Premier League clash at the weekend.
The forward missed the 4-1 win over Liverpool with a groin injury.
However, he is not expected to be out for too long, with the game against Southampton a likely return point. Haaland is now back in training.
Manager Pep Guardiola said after the Liverpool win: "He is getting better. [On Friday] he felt a little bit better compared to the previous two.
“Seven days to Southampton hopefully can still help us like all season."
City are also preparing for a Champions League quarter final first leg against Bayern Munich next midweek.
