Manchester City rising star Kevin de Bruyne has spoken of his excitement about the upcoming Manchester derby.

The Belgian scored City's winning goal against Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday night and is immediately looking forward to the weekend when the current Premier League leaders take on crosstown rivals Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Sunday.

De Bruyne said: "I am very excited.These are the moments you live for as a player.

"There will be a lot of atmosphere. Great games and derbies are the most important games for the fans, hopefully we can do good."

De Bruyne has scored five goals in nine appearances after signing for City in August.
