Aston Villa's head of recruitment for the past three years is set to depart the club.
Rob MacKenzie is leaving for Tottenham with immediate effect, joining former sporting director Johan Lange.
With Villa bringing in Monchi in the summer, Lange's role was reduced and he moved on.
Now he is taking MacKenzie with him to North London to continue Spurs' reshuffle.
Both were responsible for overhauling Villa's scouting network, per the Express and Star.
They also worked on transfers that included Ollie Watkins, Emi Martinez and Matty Cash.
