LOAN WATCH: Feyenoord releases Man City's Elabdellaoui

Dutch club Feyenoord have prematurely ended the loan agreement of Omar Elabdellaoui.

The Manchester City winger joined Feyenoord in the summer but has been sent back to his parent club after making just five appearances.

"We saw Omar as a good stand-in for that position. Of course we will take care that also after his departure, all positions are at least doubly occupied," technical director Martin van Geel told the club's official website.

It is believed that the Norway U21 international will soon join German 2.Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig.
