Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen expects Tottenham ace Gareth Bale to keep his emotions in-check when Wales face Scotland.

Allen has promised Wales will not allow a feud between Bale and Charlie Adam to spill into their World Cup qualifying clash with Scotland.

Liverpool's £15m signing Allen said: "I don't think it will be more feisty than any other game. There is that element of rivalry, but any game at international level is approached the same way and that is purely to try to win."
