Liverpool are chasing Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius.

Express says Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to raid his former club for the 22-year-old.

Klopp managed the Bundesliga outfit from 2001-2008 and is a long-term admirer of the young shot-stopper.

But it's claimed the Germany under-21 international will only consider a switch to Anfield if the Reds are playing Champions League football next season.
