Calvin Ramsay has been recalled by Liverpool from his loan at Preston North End.

The Scottish fullback had endured an injury-plagued first-half of the season at Deepdale and struggled to make an impression.

His stay was reduced to just two appearances in the Championship.

Preston boss Ryan Lowe confirmed the decision after victory over Bristol City yesterday.
