Liverpool are watching RB Salzburg defender Oumar Solet.

The Reds are seeking a new centre-half signing for the summer market, with the young Frenchman on their radar.

On his podcast Here We Go, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports Liverpool considered a signing attempt in January.

However, there was never an official offer - as the English giants chose to postpone their centre-back pursuit until the summer window.

Liverpool are mainly on the lookout for a right-footed centre-back - and Solet remains under consideration.

Solet's contract with Salzburg runs until the summer of 2025.
