Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has taken issue with criticism of his fashion sense online.

Jones posted a snap of himself with rapper Dr Dre wearing a pair of flamboyant trousers.

The picture drew a response from one fan, creedy101, with the post, “Trousers look made from my Nanny's old carpet", which included a laughing face emoji.

Jones snapped back with: "5k".

It's claimed he was pointing out the £5,000 he spent on the item of clothing after being hurt by one fan's jibe.
