Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp remains keen on Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay.

The Daily Express says Klopp is set to return to the Bundesliga early next year to take Demirbay to Anfield.

The German international has emerged as a leading target for Klopp who has been monitoring his progress for much of this season.

Demirbay, 25, was a Turkish under-21 international before switching his International allegiance to the country of his birth in 2017.

Demirbay has developed into a real power house in the Hoffenheim midfield and is equally as comfortable as either as a ball winner or an advanced play maker.
