Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is pleased for Trent Alexander-Arnold after his World Cup debut.
Klopp found time to joke about Liverpool's homegrown teenage star Alexander-Arnold breaking into the national team and become the youngest member of Gareth Southgate's squad.
He said, “Trent won his first cap before the World Cup and then played his first World Cup game – I waited 51 years for that and he has done it already after 18. He did really well.
“I am happy for the boys but I am happy for Gareth as he is doing a fantastic job. England and Belgium (coached by former Everton boss Roberto Martinez, who played for Chester) both managers are doing an incredible job. I like it."
