Manchester City youngster Rico Lewis believes Maximo Perrone performed as if he had played for the club for years.
The highly-rated midfielder signed from Velez Sarsfield in January as one for the future.
However, he was given a chance to show what he could do in the Premier League against Bournemouth at the weekend.
With City 4-0 up in the game, Guardiola gave Perrone 18 minutes to showcase his qualities.
“He's very new. He's another top, top player," Lewis said of Perrone post-game.
"Seeing him in training and today being his first game – he's been really good and gelled with the squad well. He looks like he's been with us for ages seeing him on the pitch today."
