Lewandowski hints at Barcelona stay

Robert Lewandowski has hinted he expects to stay with Barcelona next season.

The Poland striker has a deal with Barca to 2026.

He told Sport: "Of course, one of my goals is to play at Camp Nou again because it is a magical stadium, a magical pitch. Yes, of course I still want to play there, but we have to wait another 10 months.

"I think I'm very happy in the city, my family is fine, we are very happy. I might only be happy with my things, but the rest is fine too."

On Xavi's resignation, Lewandowski said: "Being a coach or a player at Barcelona means knowing how to withstand a lot of pressure, it's normal, and the team or club is going through a more difficult moment than before, with a squad with very young players. And the expectations are always very high.

"I understand what all this means for him: he is from Barça, he was a player and now he is a coach. From an emotional point of view it is very difficult to understand it perfectly, not only for him, but also for his family.

"This is why he asks everyone to concentrate about this season because with Xavi we can still win, not just matches... I'm focused on this 100%."
