Torino are determined to re-sign Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet.

Toro.it says Praet left a "great memory" at the Italian club during last season's loan and has now become their "number one target" ahead of the January window.

The report goes on to claim that Praet would be open to a return to Torino, with Leicester having "already opened the door" for his potential exit. The two clubs are reported to have been in talks, with the most likely outcome set to be a loan move with an obligation to buy come the summer.

Leicester are not thought to be in a "hurry" to sell, however. Due to their awareness of other clubs with an interest in the midfielder, the City hierarchy are keen to see a potential auction develop, so pushing up any eventual fee for Praet.
