Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater apologised to Aaron Ramsey soon after the tackle that threatened to injure his opponent in Sunday's match, reports the London Evening Standard.
Drinkwater recklessly dived in on Ramsey moments after Theo Walcott had drawn Arsenal level.
Ramsey was incensed by referee Martin Atkinson's failure to punish his opponent but revealed that Drinkwater had sought him out after the final whistle to apologise.
He wrote on Twitter: "[It] was a sore one but credit to him, apologised straight after the game."
