Leicester City caretaker boss Adam Sadler was tightlighted on Jesse Marsch's appointment after defeat at home to Bournemouth.
The Foxes are now inside the bottom three.
Salder said: “I'm not going to speculate on potential new managers and stuff like that.
“As it stands, the job Mike and I have been tasked with is to prepare the team as best as we can for this game today. Whatever the club decide to do, that's their prerogative.
“My focus has not been about Mike and I, it's been about these players and giving these players the best possible version of us to get them in the right place to attack this challenge. We know it's a big challenge but it's one we're up for."
Asked specifically about former Leeds manager Marsch, Sadler added: “I'm not going to speculate on potential new managers at the football club. I've just been told by the club to do the work until told otherwise and that's what Mike and I are prepared to do."
