Leicester City boss Claude Puel admits they could've lost Harry Maguire to Manchester United last summer.
The Sheffield-born defender stayed put at City and even faced United on the opening night of the season, with Puel commending his decision to remain with the Foxes.
Ahead of today's clash, Puel said: “He knew he could leave the club, but he gave us great support and respect after making progress with us.
“Harry's a great man.
“And he can see the club is moving forwards."
Maguire signed a new contract with Leicester in September, keeping him at the club until 2023, and Puel is full of admiration for the 25-year-old's outlook.
He said: “Harry had after an impressive season with us."
