Leicester boss Pearson blasts West Brom striker Berahino: SHUT IT!

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson blasted Saido Berahino after defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

Berahino is embroiled in a furious row with Leicester after insisting defender Marcin Wasilewski elbowed him.

Pearson said: "Players should keep their mouth shut and perform on the pitch, that's what they are paid for.

"It was really good defending. If they want punishment then I'm disappointed with their reaction.

"Centre backs get their arms up, it was fine. He's not gone to elbow him. It's called the clothes line.

"If I have a player who wants to run across me I'm going to put my arm up.

"If he runs into it it's his own tough luck. I'm not interested in players who are moaning after games.

"I think it is poor when players bleat after games, leave it to their own managers."

Berahino said: "It was a clear elbow but the ref didn't see it. I will let the FA take care of it. I just get on with it, my face is still good."
