Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch has paid tribute to one of their best players of the season so far.

Despite the Elland Road stadium club struggling near the relegation zone, Tyler Adams has been outstanding in their opening Premier League matches.

Adams was at his best against Liverpool in a 2-1 win at Anfield over the weekend.

“For me, Tyler Adams has been one of the best players on the pitch in almost every game we've played," Marsch said after the game, per Leeds Live.

“So I'm not surprised to see him be able to deliver like that.

“I think he's had a great season. It was tough not having him last week but I thought Sam Greenwood had a good match. He's very important to our team."
