Lech Poznan manager Jose Maria Bakero admits his side was lucky to come away with a win over their much more fancied rivals Manchester City in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Poles struck two late goals to record a solid 3-1 victory over the Premier League outfit but Bakero, who only took over from Jack Zielinski during the week, said that lady luck was on his side.
"In football you have to be lucky sometimes and we were for the goal to go 2-1 but we were better than Manchester City as a team and we deserved to win," he said.
"I want to congratulate the team and also the supporters because we did a great job tonight. I would also like to dedicate this victory to the previous coach. I don't want to say I won or Zielinski won, we all won."
