Monterrey star Miguel Layún says Jesus Corona needs to leave Porto this summer.

Former Watford wing-back Layun believes Mexico teammate Corona can play at a higher level. Sevilla are keen, while in England, Corona has been linked with Everton and Wolves.

Layun says, "Tecatito is an ace to the fullest extent of the word, he is one of the best players in the world and his cycle in Portugal has reached a point where he needs to be challenged.

"It is time to take that step for a great team and a great league, like Sevilla and the Spanish league. (Julen) Lopetegui knows him well and could get a lot out of his game."
