Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany believes that winning the Champions League is the only feather missing from City's cap.
The Belgian defender, ahead of the crucial away clash against Sevilla, admits that the only thing stopping City from becoming a big club is the lack of continental success.
He said: "For us as players, it's the last thing we have to achieve in order to prove we have become a big club.
"In England it is undoubted that over the last four or five years we have been amongst the top teams, but in Europe that has not been the case yet.
"I do understand why the Premier League is so important as it is so hard to win, and I understand we have to go to the next level in Champions League. It's easy to
say but very difficult to do.
"We will be patient but if we have a good day we can beat any team. Hopefully we can go to Seville with a positive attitude."
