Koeman focused on Southampton as Holland rumours start to fly

Ronald Koeman has distanced himself from taking over as Holland manager and has reiterated his commitment to his job at Southampton.

The Netherlands failed to qualify for Euro2016 and their current manager Danny Blind is under extreme pressure having failed to turn their fortunes around after being appointed in July.

Koeman has enjoyed a very positive time at Southampton and has been touted as a potential replacement to Blind.

The Southampton manager, however, told reporters ahead of his side's match with Leicester City this weekend that he was only interested in the Saints.

Koeman said: "I'm manager of Southampton,I like to be the manager of Southampton, I like to stay, and I have after this season one year more, [so] there's no way, no possibility [I could leave]."

The former Netherlands international didn't rule out the possibility of one day taking over as national team coach, saying: "Maybe [I could be the Holland manager] in the future, but depending on a lot of things.

"The Dutch have to take the disappointment, and we have to learn and we have to give a reaction."
