Kilman: Wolves players must handle pressure better

Wolves should have handled the pressure being put on them by Sheffield United in the Premier League.

The Midlands club struggled to handle the pressure that the Blades put them under in the second half on Saturday, going from 1-0 up to 2-1 down.

Despite a great first half, Wolves captain Max Kilman believes they must play that well for 90 minutes to get more Premier League wins.

After the game, which Wolves lost, Kilman told club media: “It's very disappointing.

“We came into the game and started the first half really well. Second half they put a lot of pressure on us, and we didn't control that pressure, and in the last moments we need to be better and see out the game."

He added on the second period: “They came out much hungrier and were fighting for everything, but we needed to match that and there was lots of spells where we didn't, so we made it more difficult for ourselves."
