Juventus hero Fabrizio Ravanelli has revealed a conversation he has had with Paul Pogba.

The midfielder is being linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

But Ravanelli told TV Play: "I was leaving Turin and he wanted to say goodbye, for him I was a hero when I was in Marseille. He has a great desire to do well and to redeem himself, let's hope he can find the right form and the right continuity."

Ravanelli continued: "He told me he wants to stay, then everything can change overnight, but he wants to stay in Turin at all costs. Pogba wants to prove his worth at all costs. Let's hope he can go back to being the champion we've always admired.

"He's doing a specific and gradual job, so the trainers told me. They don't want to force their hand, he wants to be ready at the start of the championship."
