Juventus boss Del Neri delighted with goal scorer Aquilani

Juventus coach Gigi del Neri was delighted with Alberto Aquilani's first goal for the club in their thumping of Lecce. The result was a further boost after their draws with Manchester City and Inter.

"The team is improving in every area," said Del Neri. "Aquilani has pushed his way into this squad. He has technique, has matured and alongside him everyone is doing better.

"I thought Felipe Melo could give an important contribution this season and he is doing his duty perfectly."

Milos Krasic had a hand in three of the four goals.

"Krasic is settling into the system and movement, while we are all giving him a helping hand to deliver.

"He is very aggressive in the one-against-one, really knows how to attack the space and can be devastating.

"Krasic is an important player doing the best with his characteristics and his support at the moment is crucial, even if he cannot always be 100 per cent."
