Newcastle United attacker Joselu has admitted the Magpies are currently going through a very tough period.

United are currently on a terrible run of eight defeats in their last nine matches and ahead of the Magpies' clash against fellow strugglers West Ham United, attacker Joselu has admitted that his side are currently going through a very troubling period.

Joselu said: "It is very, very important. We need to take the three points we need to win. We know that it is difficult because the situation is not good.

"The team, the club staff the we are all together. We keep fighting for the three points."
