Jordi Cruyff has rejected an approach from Tottenham.

Spurs saw Cruyff as a potential replacement for Fabio Paratici after the Italian sporting director's departure last season. But the Dutchmam turned down the approach.

Cruyff is available after resigning as sporting director of Barcelona.

The former Barca and Manchester United forward favours returning to football as a senior coach.

The Dutchman has previously coached clubs such as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Shenzhen FC.
