Izaguirre, Wilson may get chance as Celtic prepare for Rangers

Neil Lennon admits he will not be afraid to use returning defenders Emilio Izaguirre and Kelvin Wilson in tonight's Old Firm derby with Rangers at Celtic Park.

Honduran left-back Izaguirre has been out with a broken ankle since August whilst English centre-half Wilson played just under a half of the weekend's win over Kilmarnock after being sidelined for three months and Lennon has revealed they both could be thrown into the heat of the Glasgow derby tonight.

"Of course I'd consider Izaguirre for this game. He's fit, but he hasn't had much football," Lennon said.

"He's coming along very nicely. He was unfortunate not to get some game time on Saturday with Kilmarnock scoring when they did. We just couldn't put him into that situation so we'll see."

On Wilson he added: "He got a good 40 minutes under his belt against Kilmarnock and did very well. Again, he's a player who could definitely feature against Rangers."
