PSG striker Edinson Cavani's move to Atletico Madrid is in danger of collapse.

Walter Cavani, the forward's brother and agent, was at Madrid airport last night due to depart for Paris. He had been in the city since Monday attempting to reach terms with Atletico - but to no avail.

Walter even offered to lower his brother's personal demands to ease negotiations, but it was rejected by Atletico. The major stumbling block is PSG's asking price.

Atletico have offered €15m and €18m this week, but PSG are demanding they go higher.

El Chiringuito reports the move now appears to be over ahead of tomorrow night's deadline.
