Inter Milan are in advanced negotiations with Velez Sarsfield for defender Nicolas Otamendi.
The 21 year-old Argentina international has been likened to Inter favourite Walter Samuel and also is interesting Palermo and Catania.
However, Milan sources say Otamendi's minders are a step away from sealing an agreement which will see the youngster move to the San Siro this summer.
