Manchester City have tabled a bumper pre-contract offer to David Alaba.

The Bayern Munich defender will leave at the end of the season with his deal to expire in June.

The Austrian played for City boss Pep Guardiola at Bayern and would be keen to work with the Catalan again.

Fussball Transfers reports City have offered a five-year pre-contract worth €14m-a-season.

This is in contrast to Real's proposal of €11m-a-season for four years and his current Bayern salary of €13m.
