Former Roma midfielder Stefano Impallomeni is backing the call for Paul Pogba to take a cut on his Juventus salary.
It's been suggested Pogba and Juve are set to enter negotiations about cutting his wages given his injury problems.
Impallomeni told Radio TMW: "If there is the will of the parties, it can be done and it is right.
"It was a significant expense and it is right that it goes to Juventus with the awareness that he is a player at risk. He has important identified problems, so it is better to establish a new relationship.
"Maybe a new adventure begins with small steps in the season. There is the awareness that he will no longer be able to play 30 games in a row. Something like this would also give the player more serenity."
