Everton's new majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is hopeful his investment can 'energise' the club and bring silverware to the Toffees' trophy cabinet.
Moshiri purchased 49.99% of the club at a reported cost of £85million last week, before watching the Merseyside club progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win over Chelsea in his first match as Everton's majority shareholder.
"I felt it today. It is a great club," Moshiri told evertontv.
"We just enjoy the day and let's hope we can energise the club.
"You can never take over a club, you become part of a club and that's what I'm hoping - to become part of a club.
"For me I bought into a new family and that's what is special for me. I give them whatever I have."
