Hugo Lloris says Tottenham need to get tougher if they're sustain a title challenge.
Spurs scraped into the top four despite suffering 13 defeats last season — the same number as newly promoted Wolves, who finished seventh — and Lloris says they are determined to turn some of those losses into draws or victories.
“One thing that we try to improve this season: if you cannot win, it's important to not lose the game, especially against an opponent like Manchester City," said the goalkeeper, who impressed on his 300th appearance for the club, Saturday's 2-2 draw against the champions.
“If you want to stay in contact with the best team in the Premier League, it's important to get this feeling. There were some games that we lost [last term] that we should have drawn. We all know the difficulty of playing at City, so it's a good feeling to build confidence."
