Hugo Lloris is happy to have signed a new contract with Tottenham.

The Spurs captain recently extended his deal to 2024.

Asked if considered a Ligue 1 return, He said, “I was coming to the end of my contract, so I couldn't control the rumours. From the moment when I intended to give priority to Tottenham, the question could not arise very concretely.

"If I had decided to leave, I would have considered it, but at no time did I tell myself that I was going to leave.

"And when the people at your club respect and value you, you pay attention to those things."
