Hugo Bueno is delighted with his first year at Wolves.

The Spanish teen was snapped up by Wolves from little CD Areosa last year.

The midfielder, 17, recalled to Marca: "It was in January 2019. They liked me a lot in the game they saw me and they proposed that I go there for a week to train with the U18s.

"I accepted, of course. I played with them in two friendlies. They told me that I fit perfectly, but they wanted me to come back, to see more coaches.

"In March I came back and before that they traveled to Spain to see me again. I think they had many doubts because I came from a team that was not professional and they wanted to be very safe."

Bueno eventually signed for Wolves and has since broken into the Spain U18 setup.
