Mark Hughes is determined to hold onto Manchester City's best players.

The Blackburn Rovers boss is expected to make his switch to Eastlands this week and will make it a priority to hang onto England trio Michael Johnson, Micah Richards and Joe Hart.

"He's not interested in selling the best players and will hope they're excited about working for him," a friend told the Daily Mail.
