Former Everton and Birmingham midfielder Lee Carslye is being pursued by League One club Huddersfield Town.

The 36-year has left St Andrews as a free agent after his contract expired at the end of last season and now the Terriers are keen to bring in him as they chase promotion to the second tier.

Carsley has been in the top flight for almost his entire career but at 36 may have to drop down a standard or two to get the most out of himself.
