Holland national team coach Bert van Mariwjk has allayed the injury fears surrounding winger Arjen Robben.

The 26-year old Bayern Munich star injured his left hamstring in his side's 6-1 win over Hungary on Saturday but scans have since revealed that the damage is not serious.

van Marwijk told Dutch broadcaster NOS that he will not call on a stand-by player as he will give Robben every chance of recovering for the group stage.

"…decided not to summon any substitute for Arjen. I want to give him every chance to still participate in the World Cup."
