Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has rated goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey as the club's best player so far this season.
The Wales international has emerged as the Molineux club's number one custodian this season after playing second fiddle to Marcus Hahnemann in 2009/10 before pushing past the American last season.
McCarthy feels it was that campaign when Hennessey was second choice which has catapulted him into such stellar form this term.
"Two years ago is what has made him better and what makes him able to handle it now. That was his tough time. But he's probably our Player of the Season so far," McCarthy told Express & Star.
