Hasenhuttl backs Adams to break Southampton duck

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has backed summer signing Che Adams to break his scoring duck.

The recent £15 million arrival from Birmingham was impressive in a 1-0 win over Sheffield United, where he hit the post.

Adams has yet to score for the Saints, which may make some fans nervous, but Hasenhuttl is backing his man.

Speaking about Adams, the Saints boss said to reporters: "It's unbelievable.

"The first shot was fantastic and the header was good but that's something that is special for this team.

"He's a little bit unlucky and this luck he must work for his first goal.

"Everybody looks at him and thinks he is working so hard and the moment will come and we will help him. Everybody helps him and that is something special for this team.

"You can see and you can feel that they are working together and this is fantastic."
